Hier können Sie sich umfassend über alle Aktivitäten von bildenden KünstlerInnen im öffentlichen Raum der Hansestadt seit 1973 informieren. Bis zum heutigen Tag sind ca. 670 Einzelwerke und Mahnmale dauerhaft aufgestellt und ca. 647 temporäre Projekte durchgeführt worden. Insgesamt haben sich bis heute 665 Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus der Region, aus Deutschland und international beteiligt. Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, in unserem umfangreichen Archiv zu stöbern: Machen Sie sich ein Bild von einzelnen Werken. Diese sind chronologisch absteigend geordnet. Suchen Sie nach KünstlerInnen, dann finden Sie diese über die alphabetische Namensliste. Sie kennen den Standort, aber nicht das Kunstwerk? Das Programm "Kunst im öffentlichen Raum" wurde 1973 vom Bremer Senat beschlossen und löste die seit 1952 bestehende Kunst-am-Bau-Regelung ab.
