In front of the primary school „Borchshöhe“, two sculptures tell stories about school and life.

One of the sculptures sits on a cutout box. It’s a man sitting on a chair, reading a book on which a squirrel settled down.

The other sculpture is located behind a bronze boar, which was erected in the course of the inauguration of the school’s new building by artist Peter Lehmann in 1968.

The figure by artist Thomas Recker wears earphones and has an oversized pencil in his hand. A giraffe is sitting on his head.
